Wander 352 - Nikko's Sire

There are less than 20 FPS Dutch approved Friesian stallions in the United States and only about 100 of them worldwide. Nikko is an FPS/FHANA registered Purebred Friesian stallion by Wander 352 (Studbook No.: 199111221) who was permanently approved on offspring by the FPS in 1996.

Hanke Model - Nikko's Dam

Hanke is Dutch registered by Ritse 322 (Studbook No.: 199418910) and has the much sought after "Model" designation given to her by the Dutch. Hanke was the first Friesian mare to earn that title at the young age of four.

Wander foals are highly sought after in the Netherlands (where Friesians are from) and have been very popular at the recent dutch inspections or "Keurings." In fact, another of Wander's offspring and half brother to Nikko, Doaitsen 420, was permanently approved on offspring recently and now stands in the Netherlands. At Nikko's foal keuring in 2004 not only did he receive the much sought after first premie, but he was also named reserve grand champion. He is 4th generation stam line 201 and has an inbreeding coefficiency of just 1.56%. Nikko, like his father and mother, exhibits modern lines and beautiful flowing movement with lots of hair and feathers. We expect him to reach 16 hands and excel in dressage as well as driving.

Nikko's offspring are eligible to be registered with the following registries: Friesian Horse Association of North America (purebred only), Friesian Horse Society, Friesian Blood Horse Registry, Friesian Sport Horse Registry, Friesians of America and American Friesian Association. As well, check with your mare's association to see if her foal would qualify for that registry.
